The Beauty of Limitations

I came across this idea of appreciating the word “limitation.” A lot of people today indulge themselves in social media because Wi-Fi is provided. Some cannot think well because the things they need are already in front of them.
The root cause of losing your creativity is laziness and overflowing provisions.

We cannot be creative with too much exposure to anything. For example, when we try to scroll on Instagram, watch videos from YouTube for fun, watch TikTok trending videos out of boredom. All of these activities are stealing our creativity.

I think when we limit ourselves to all of the things, creativity happens. Too much exercise could lead to anxiety and comparisons. Too much reading in books and reality avoidance steal your social life. Too much social life steals the ability to reflect on yourself.

Too much exposure to social media could make you feel less of a person because you see how other people’s lifestyles are superior to your situation. Too much exposure in church somehow provokes hate and criticism. Too much care from people’s opinions somehow leads to depression.

Limitations are very powerful. Many people say when you focus on one thing, that thing is your pride and glory. However, it would be best if you had a purpose. Bill Gates stopped schooling from pursuing his dream and changing the world. But I know for sure. He knows his limitations, and he has meaning. He helps people, and the focus is not only on one thing.

In too much, there is danger. There is danger in one occupied zone. Now limit yourselves to one thing. Other people might use it to destroy you. Be flexible, be sophisticated, be fit in every possible hole. Live with simplicity and freedom. Live with the people you love and experience life in many possible ways.

Limit yourself from too much and practice how to control everything. The most dangerous thing in this world is to be slaved by one thing. That one thing, that one focus of yours, should help you, not break you.
